Who is Sebastian Sanchez?
Sebastian Sanchez began his flamenco journey at Simone Pope’s academy in the early 2000s. In 2008, he relocated from Brisbane to Sevilla, where he trained intensively with maestros such as Andrés Peña, Manuel Betanzos, Rafael Campallo, Angel Atienza, and Alejandro Granados.
He has since established himself internationally, performing at major flamenco festivals across Europe, including Finland, Latvia, and Russia. His work has taken him throughout Spain, Germany, Australia, New Caledonia, Scandinavia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, and the Baltic countries, where he has developed a strong reputation as a performer, producer, director, and choreographer.
His projects include international tours with 4Flamencomen, the Spanish cultural production Poemas de Iberia, and co-choreography for works such as Tango Malena Story and Flamenco Capriccios.
With over 15 years of experience, Sebastian is also a dedicated teacher, sharing his knowledge through classes and workshops worldwide, continuing the tradition passed on by his maestros.
